Another bit from this narrative/comic thing. Almost done!
Another bit from this narrative/comic thing. Almost done!
I recently had the pleasure of working with the Toronto-based brand design firm Creative Equity Partners on a logo for Gitta’s Race, a charity run that raises money for Parkinson’s Disease research at North York General Hospital. This portrait is of Gitta, the founder’s mother and race’s namesake, and was used in the logo/promotional material for the charity.
The race was held on May 4, 2013 and raised over $60,000!

I’ve got a few new prints up there as well!
A bit of narrative work I’m inking this week!
Another illustration this week for the Globe & Mail!
A memoir of an alcoholic mother, and the ‘intoxication’ of self-exposure.

An illustration I did this week for today’s Globe & Mail. This one was for a very sad article about a pregnant woman who lost her first child and is struggling to answer the well-meaning question “Is this your first?”.

Drawing BABIES
I was too tired to do real work last night, so instead I coloured a sketch before bed.
Some linework-in-progress of one of the pieces I’m working on this weekend. Who knows how much I’ll actually get done with the weather outside being this beautiful, though!
A dancing Irish grandpa I drew for the Globe & Mail! You can read the article here.
Happy St. Patty’s!
Free shipping on my prints until March 17th!
A little drawing I’m working on today. I want to take more of my rough drawings and sketches to some sort of ‘finished’ state - more experimentation with finishing techniques never hurts and it comes with none of the pressure of client work!
A bunch of messy sketch stuff.

Thank you! I mostly use Photoshop to colour my work, and a combination of traditional (pencil, ink, pen) and digital for the linework.
My price for a commission would really depend on the detail and complexity of the work requested! To be honest I don’t take on all that much commission work so I don’t have a current price list, but if you have something in mind, let me know and I’ll give you a rough estimate!
My work has been featured on Illustration Age!
